Short answer: ceba.ca earns a referral fee from three online lenders, Driven, Journey Capital and Merchant Growth, but only when a business we refer gets a loan and that loan is funded. You pay ceba.ca nothing. Lenders cannot pay to change what we write or the order they appear in.
ceba.ca is an independent website run by Sprout Services Ltd. Our guides are written by Garron Helman, who has more than 15 years of experience in Canadian small business financing.
ceba.ca is not the government's CEBA Program. We are not affiliated with the Government of Canada, Export Development Canada (EDC), the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or any bank or credit union. The official program site is ceba-cuec.ca.
Three online lenders pay us a referral fee. We list them in alphabetical order:
These are the only lenders that pay ceba.ca today. If that changes, we will update this page. You can see how the three compare on our CEBA refinancing lenders page.
Only when one of these lenders funds a loan for a business we referred. The lender pays the fee, not you. We are not paid when you:
No. Lenders cannot pay to change our articles, to be recommended, or to appear higher in a list. When we compare lenders, we list them alphabetically unless an article explains why one fits a specific situation better. We show each lender's figures with the month we checked them, and we ask you to compare the total cost repaid, including fees, not just the rate.
We also tell you when a new loan is the wrong choice. ceba.ca earns nothing when you refinance with your own bank or credit union, pay from savings, or set up a payment arrangement with the CRA. When one of those costs less, our guides say so.
If you submit our compare lenders form, we share your answers with the lenders whose minimums match your business so they can contact you about a loan. Read our privacy policy to see what we collect and how it is used.
Every fact in our guides comes from an official source, such as ceba-cuec.ca, the Department of Finance Canada or a bank's own CEBA page, or is stated as Garron's experience as a lender. Each guide shows the date it was last updated, and we review deadline facts whenever the government makes an announcement. If you spot an error, please contact us.
